Information concerning our cats
All our cats are registered and come from beautiful American or Canadian lineages. We will be pleased to send you their pedigree on request.
Your cat will already be TICA registered, it will have been taken for vaccinations and vermifuge (deworming) twice.
We like to discuss with each new owner and we choose together in terms of the cat’s and its owner’s well-being.
We offer a health guarantee of 10 days against viral disease and of two years against congenital defects.
Kittens that are sold for breeding purposes will also have a fertility guarantee.
Your kitten will have its first and second shots and vermifuge treatments (deworming) up to date. You could bring it back home between 10 and 12 weeks old.
A first visit at the age of six weeks to make a choice will allow you to visit the cattery, to see the parents and to take the time to observe the kittens’ temperament. We have a reservation system. The first deposits received allow for the first visits at six weeks old.
Price
It is a fact that Bengal cats are quite expensive. This is the reason why it is so important to choose carefully. I can guarantee that if you are passionate about felines, you will never regret your purchase. In an average lifespan of 17 years, the pleasure you will have with your miniature leopard will be worth the investment; that’s for sure!
Nevertheless, we believe that sometimes, there is a bit of exaggeration on the part of some breeders. Of course, there are categories; which means that according to the breed’s criteria (TICA) some kittens will be sold as pet quality only, others for breeding purposes and finally, the ones that meet the greatest number of criteria for the breed will be categorized as breeder and show quality cats.
At Shaghera Bengal, we will guide you in all simplicity, according to your criteria and your budget. We believe it is impossible to have breeding quality kittens only, even if the parents are champions. Moreover, the smallest pet quality kitten can sometimes turn out to be the nicest.
